Holy Trinity Catholic School Dress Code
Pants & Skirts: All dress pants, Capri slacks, skirts, skorts or culottes may be worn in solid colors and in good taste. A belt is required for all pants that are made with belt loops. Skirts must be no shorter than 4" above the knee. No denim in any color allowed. No wind suits, slicks, sweat pants, stretch pants, leggings, bib overalls or mini skirts allowed. (Students will not wear athletic uniforms of any type to school.)
Shirts: Dress shirts, polo shirts, turtlenecks with collars and sleeves may be worn. Shirts must be tucked in at all times. No crew, v-neck, t-shirts, or mock turtleneck shirts will be allowed. No midriff or cleavage may be showing.
Sweaters: Sweaters, including cardigans, pullovers, v-necks & sweater vests may be worn. All must be worn over a dress code shirt, tucked in, with the collar showing.
Sweatshirts: Holy Trinity school logo or solid crewneck or hooded sweatshirts may be worn with a dress code shirt tucked in and with the collar showing. Sweatshirts must be appropriate in size. No sweatshirts may be worn inside out.
Shoes: Clean tennis shoes or dress shoes may be worn. No cowboy boots, no work boots, no sandals, no flip-flops.
Other: No attire (including hats) promoting racial or religious intolerance, gangs, violence, sexism, vulgar and inappropriate language, drugs, alcohol and tobacco products or other advertisements will be allowed in school or at school events. No torn or cut off pants, shorts or shirts will be allowed at any time. Caps/hats and other miscellaneous headwear will not be worn in the school buildings during the school day.
Summer Wear: (May 15 through September 30 each year): During this time, students may wear modest shorts with a dress code shirt. Shorts must be no shorter than fingertip length. No sport shorts or bike shorts may be worn. Shoe policy applies as noted above.
Personal Appearance: Hair styles must be clean and well groomed and not of such an extreme nature as to cause undo attention to the person or cause a class disruption. Hair color needs to be a shade that is naturally occurring to humans. No purple, blue, etc., except when approved by the principal for special events. Color used at such special events will be temporary and easily washed out. Visible pierced jewelry may be in the ear only and not of such an extreme nature as to cause undo attention to the person or cause a class disruption. Gentlemen need to be clean shaven. Tattoos are strongly discouraged and when a student is competing in a Holy Trinity uniform for sports, cheerleading, fine arts, etc. performances a tattoo will be covered.
