Board of Education Meeting
January 10, 2011

The special meeting of the Holy Trinity Catholic School Board was called to order at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, January 11, 2011, by President Gary Hoyer at the McAleer Parish Center in Ft. Madison .  The prayer was led by Gary Hoyer.

Roll Call:  Present:  Jeff Denning, Tom Gregg, Loren Holtkamp, Gary Hoyer, Ray Menke, Craig Pieper, Roy Tinguely.  Absent:  Fr. Beckman, Brad Box, Fr. Hoffman, Fr. Spring, Fr. Wilkening.

Agenda:  Motion to approve the agenda by Ray Menke, second by Jeff Denning.  Motion carried 

Minutes:  None.

Policy Approvals:  Two series of policies for Holy Trinity Catholic Schools, Inc., Section 100 – Education Philosophy, and   Series 200 – Board of Education, were approved on first reading.  Motion by Roy Tinguely, second by Loren Holtkamp.  Motion carried unanimously.

Fund Raiser Request:  The board approved a request from the girls’ softball team to host a taco supper at the varsity basketball game on Friday, January 21, 2011.  Motion by Ray Menke, second by Roy Tinguely.  Motion carried unanimously.

Adjournment:  The meeting was adjourned on a motion by Roy Tinguely, second by Jeff Denning.  Motion carried.
