National Honors Society

National Honor Society (NHS) is a nationwide organization in the United States that recognizes high school students for their academic achievements and commitment to leadership, service, and character. Membership is based on a combination of scholarship (academic excellence), leadership qualities, dedication to community service, and adherence to high ethical standards. Students who are selected for NHS are expected to continue demonstrating these values throughout their high school careers and to serve as role models for their peers.
