Fort Madison Community Hospital is happy to host the Junior Volunteer Program for high school students again this summer. Fort Madison Community Hospital is happy to host the Junior Volunteer Program for high school students again this summer. The Junior Volunteer program is designed to educate and support students interested in medical careers. Benefits of the program include developing new skills, gaining valuable experience, helping others, and giving back to the community. The program will last 6 weeks starting June 11 and ending July 19, 2012. Volunteer hours will be available from 9 am to 12 noon, Monday through Thursday. Volunteers must put in a minimum of 6 hours per week and a program total of 24 hours. Acceptance will be based on your application and references.
